Terms of service
1. About us
These terms apply to purchases in the online shop Pedestrian Shopping, which is run by Padasht Abdulrahman (sole proprietorship), Lerdalsfaret 144, 1263 Oslo. E-mail: pedestrianshopping@gmail.com. Purchases are governed by the forbrukerkjøpsloven (Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act), the angrerettloven (Norwegian Cancellation Act) and the markedsføringsloven (Norwegian Marketing Control Act).
2. The agreement
The agreement consists of these terms, the information provided in the ordering process and any separate agreement. The agreement is binding once we have received the order.
3. Prices
The price stated at checkout is the total price the customer pays, including shipping. The business is not registered for VAT. For deliveries outside Norway, import VAT and a fee from the postal service or carrier may be added on delivery – see the shipping policy.
4. Payment
Payment is taken when the item has been shipped. For card purchases, the amount is reserved on your account when you place the order.
5. Delivery
See the shipping policy for delivery times and shipping rates. The risk for the item passes to the customer once it has been delivered.
6. Right of withdrawal
The customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal. See the returns and refund policy.
7. Delay and non-delivery
If we do not deliver within the agreed time, the customer may demand performance, cancel the agreement and/or claim compensation under the forbrukerkjøpsloven.
8. Defects and complaints
The customer has the right to complain for 2 years (5 years for items intended to last considerably longer). A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered.
9. Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
10. Dispute resolution
Complaints should be directed to the seller within a reasonable time. The parties shall try to resolve disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the customer can contact the Forbrukerrådet (Norwegian Consumer Council) for mediation and then bring the case before the Forbrukerklageutvalget (Consumer Disputes Commission), or file a complaint via the European Commission's complaints portal.
